Two and a half month

In two and a half month we will start to rent out our Berghamn cabin. We are working with the inside and it looks very promising. We are all excited to receive out first guests in the beginning of May.

View from “överstugan”, a cabin beside our High Coast Cabin. It will be reconstructed also.

First day/night in the cabin

All the paperwork is now done and we got the keys to our cabin in Berghamn in the High Coast of Sweden. We decided to try the cabin for a night at once. It’s so peaceful here!

It’s the darkest time of the year in december. Outside is windy and a cold rain. We are hoping for snow to come back, as it was only a few days ago. But it lingers. Maybe next week, says the forecast.

In the evening we went for a short walk along the road through the village and listened to the sea. The bay was quiet, but further away the waves made their characteristic sound.

We are just feeling the relaxing calm, no traffic, no signals, no noise outside in a village with only seven permanent households. Looking forward to a good night sleep. We will be back soon, for sure.

Första natten i stugan
